Oman Shell supports Ministry of Health to combat COVID-19
Oman Shell made two donations to the Ministry of Health: OMR 750,000 to purchase COVID-19 rapid testing kits and OMR 300,000 worth of fuel for emergency vehicles.
The contribution supports the Ministry of Health as they face increased demand for both emergency vehicles and COVID-19 testing. In addition, Oman Shell is collaborating with the Ministry to introduce an integrated awareness campaign across Shell service stations and other platforms.
“We hope this support provides relief towards easing the national burden of the global outbreak. Now more than ever, we must come together to support Oman’s Ministry of Health and the heroic medical professionals who work tirelessly to treat those who are infected and to keep people safe.” said Walid Hadi, Country Chairman for Oman Shell.
