Environmental Conservation

Environmental conservation is one of the areas of focus identified by Shell Development Oman’s social investment agenda. Since 2012, SDO helped support several projects.

The Environment Curriculum

In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Climate Affairs and the Environment Society of Oman, SDO have launched “The Environment Curriculum.” This is a fundamental part of Shell’s vision for establishing a generation that is conscious of the importance of preserving the environment.

The Environment Curriculum has been rolled out across schools in Oman and aims to enlighten young people with the necessary knowledge to maintain and protect the environment. It teaches individuals that helping the environment is not only a duty but a lifestyle.
