Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG
A public limited company shared between Shell, with 49% ownership, and private investors, many of who are members of the Omani public. Shell Oman Marketing provides services, fuels, lubricants and greases, and manages a network of retail filling stations.

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is the foremost exploration and production company in the Sultanate and accounts for more than 70% of the country's crude oil production and nearly all of its natural gas supply. The Company is owned by the Government of Oman, Shell plc, Total and Partex.

Shell launches 25-megawatt solar plant in Sultanate of Oman
Sohar, Oman - Today, Oman Shell launched the 25-megawatt Qabas solar plant, helping the port and freezone in Sohar to become more sustainable and demonstrating the commercial benefits of solar power for industrial purposes. Owned by Shell, Sohar Solar Qabas is the company’s first utility scale, photovoltaic (PV) solar project in the Middle East and in Oman.
Shell signs gas concession agreement for Block 10 in Oman
Muscat, Oman – The Ministry of Energy and Minerals on behalf of the government of the Sultanate of Oman has signed a concession agreement with Shell Integrated Gas Oman BV, a subsidiary of Shell plc, and its partners, OQ and Marsa Liquefied Natural Gas LLC (a joint venture between TotalEnergies and OQ), to develop and produce natural gas from block 10. The parties also signed a separate gas sales agreement for gas produced from the block. The two agreements follow an interim upstream agreement signed in February 2019.

Oman LNG’s First Carbon-Neutral LNG Supply
Attesting to its robust efforts in delivering clean and reliable energy, Oman LNG has signed a pivotal agreement with Shell to deliver the Middle East first carbon-neutral1 LNG cargo utilising nature based offsets from Oman LNG’s world class facility in Sur. The cargo, which is expected to be delivered in the region, is the first carbon-neutral LNG from the Middle East using nature-based carbon credits to offset full lifecycle CO2 emissions generated across the LNG value chain; from exploring and producing the natural gas to its end use by the final consumer2.
