Oman Shell concluded its participation in Oman Sustainability Week (OSW) and the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) 2026, held recently at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), with a strong presence that showcased the company’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and Oman’s evolving energy future.

Oman Shell, in collaboration with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), celebrated the conclusion of the second edition of the Shell NXplorers Pro Program 2025/2026 during a ceremony held at the Oman Institute for Energy, under the patronage of HE Mahmoud bin Abdullah Al-Aweini, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance. The event marked the culmination of a high-impact training journey, reflecting the program’s continued evolution into a more mature and influential platform for developing national talent.

Oman Shell, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Royal Oman Police, celebrated the conclusion of the current edition of the Road Buddies program for the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Major General Hamid bin Ahmed bin Said Sakroon, President of the National Defense College, at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat, in the presence of senior officials, educators, representatives of key partners, and participating students and their parents.

Oman Shell is continuing its commitment to youth and workforce development through its support of a 13-month technical training program delivered at Takatuf Petrofac Oman (TPO). The program, which has been active for several months, is designed as a sustained learning journey that builds real technical capability for a number of Omani Youth.
